Inspired by the unforgettable opening of Barry Manilow’s Grammy Award-winning hit song, Copacabana tells a tale of old-fashioned love, jealousy and murder.
Aspiring songwriter Stephen dreams of New York’s world famous Copacabana nightclub; Lola, a hopeful showgirl, embarks on a path to stardom with the help of bartender Tony. All goes well until gangster Rico arrives. Captivated by her performance, the villainous Rico drugs her and whisks her away to the Tropicana nightclub in Havana.
The entangled lives of Lola, Tony and Rico unfold amidst dazzling costumes, spectacular sets and sensational choreography.
Just close your eyes and escape into an era when ‘music and passion were always the fashion’!
