Hogmanay, 1953. The women are gathered for the last wash of the year, and to share their secrets from the old year and their hopes for the new one.
Looking at the relationships, gossip and humour of the ladies who used the ‘steamie’, this warm, affectionate and often wildly funny play has become a firm favourite with theatregoers.
The show was staged at Gilmorehill G12, 27–29 September 2001.
